![]() I call back runway and they say they are still looking for the car, I call back again and I get the same runaround story. 4 days go by and the insurance company calls me again and asks me if I heard anything about the car, I say no, and then they inform me that they cannot issue a settlement until they can inspect the car. ![]() I call Runway and they say that they are trying to locate my car, that they have a few lots and they are sending someone at that moment to find the car and they will contact the insurance company. They call me back and say that the towing company has no record of my car being there. after getting the police repost and working with the insurance companies which took about 3 weeks the other parties insurance company accepts the responsibility and needs to inspect the car for an assessment, so I give them the number to Runway. My complaint is the amount they charged me for two days storage.I was charged $90 for administrative fee $50 for pull out fee $200 for storageDesired Settlement: I believe a refund has to be issued for the administrative fee and pull out fee. The trucks were purchased by an agent from Virginia and were supposed to be delivered at a different location by a towing company, delivered to Runaway Towing. Review: I had two trucks that were stored at Runaway Towing's yard for pick up. We require a phone call from Runway to resolve this issue We have attempted to speak with or to amicably resolve the issue however we have not been able to do so.Desired Settlement: We request a written estimate for our review as well as a price that compares to market prices given to us from other tow companies. ![]() We verbally explained to both and that this fee was much higher than the prevailing rate and that their charges were not justified based on the tow. The charges they verbally gave us were three times higher than the market rate for that tow however they wanted us to pay it first before a receipt is issued. We visited the tow company within two hours of truck being towed to pay the bill and the company verbally gave us quote to pay the bill and would not furnish an estimate of charges until ![]() Review: The towing company towed a truck from the scene of an accident back to their facility upon the request of the NYC police department due to its unsafe condition to drive. ![]()
